Professional Experience

Daniel Tavela Luis is a lawyer with experience in the areas of business law and a special focus on commercial contracts, international trade, and conflict resolution, particularly focused on arbitration and mediation.

He is responsible for coordinating the advisory performance of MLuis Advogados Associados, with special emphasis on the definition of complex case strategies, involving negotiations with a high degree of difficulty in the areas covered by business law, commercial contracts, and family law.

He has been involved in a variety of legal and business issues, including:

  • Assistance in negotiations, closures, and revision of contracts, with emphasis on international contracts and mergers and acquisitions;

  • Conflict resolution, with special emphasis on commercial and international arbitration, as well as civil litigation in Brazil;

  • Strategic consultancy for property protection of entrepreneurs;

  • Strategic consultancy in litigation related to extrajudicial and legally backed financial restructuring;

  • Preparation of expert opinions related to contractual, business, and corporate law;

  • Administrative and judicial litigation with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI)

  • Preparation of expert opinions on trademark registration in Brazil;

  • Preparation of queries and expert opinions on the regularization of Brazilian capital abroad and foreign capital in Brazil;
